If your smart phone screen is accidentally damaged, you need not worry about taking it to the service centre and bearing the repair cost. MB Care will bear the cost.

MBcare is a screen locker utility app for Android Smartphone. It will run sponsored native ads on lock screen with latest offers and discounts for online purchase.

Q 3. What Are Native Ads?

Native ads are made for enhancing user experience with interest based relevant ads posted by Google and Facebook or other advertisers.

Q 4. Will ads disturb the user experience?       

No. MBcare has taken care of user experience and used the native ad format instead of annoying popup ads & full screen ads. We have also taken care that ads should be relevant for user.

Q 5. If any Ad is not relevant for me what should I do?

If you think any ad is not relevant for you and annoying, you can simply click on right side blue icon and report the ad and that ad will not be shown to you again.

To activate MBcare App Offer download MBcare App & Invite 2 friends on MBcare App with your Referral Code.

Q 7. What are the Eligibility Criteria?

Device should be an Android Smartphone

Device should not be older than 2 years

Device should be 4G supported

Your age should be not less than 18 Years at the time of enrolment

Q 8. What is the validity of MBcare App Offer?

The validity of the damage protection is for ONE year from the date of activation & subject to app retention for a year.

Q 9. Which device brands are eligible for MBcare App Offer?

MBcare App Offer is available for all major mobile brands which are serviced and repaired in INDIA or brands that have Authorized Service centre in INDIA. Some of the brands are:

Samsung, Xiaomi, Vivo, HTC, Sony, Google, Micromax, Xolo, Lenovo, Motorola, Asus, LETV, One Plus, and Gionee.

Q 10. I bought my device from a location outside INDIA, how can I protect it under MBcare App Offer?

MB Care Plan is available only for devices which are bought in INDIA via authorized sales channels.

Q 11. When can I claim damage protection under MBcare App Offer?

You will be eligible for a claim after 30 days from the date of MBcare App registration.

Q 12: When and in what circumstances my Claim will be rejected?

Claims for Devices that have undergone repair from a repair center that has not been authorised by the Device Manufacturer and/or contain non genuine parts will be rejected.

Q 13. When should I file a claim if my phone is accidentally damaged?

 You can file the claim within 48 hrs of discovering the damage by logging on to www.mbcare.in/claim

Q 14. I am 13 years old, can I subscribe for MBcare App Offer?

 This plan is applicable only for Indian Citizen above 18 years of age

Q 15. I broke my device accidentally do I need to pay for the repair?

If you are an active user of MB Care App then you need not worry about repair. MBcare team will arrange free pickup courier and get it repair from their authorised service partners. You just have to pay Rs.500 for claim handling fees.

Q 16. I bought a new device; can I transfer my MBcare App Offer to my new device?

No need to transfer just sign up new account with same credentials. MBcare App Offer is activated on IMEI basis and app retention.

Q 17. How is my device coverage amount arrived at?

 MBcare App Offer cover fix sum assured of Rs. 10000/- because average screen repair cost is Rs.5000/-

Q 18 (a). How many claims can I raise during my membership tenure?

User can claim multiple times but each claim should not exceed Rs.5000/- subject to a ceiling of Rs.10000/-

Q 18 (b). What if my phone gets totally damaged?

MBcare will bear the repair cost of screen only. User has to bear cost of repairs to the rest of the device. (Subject to the limits set out in the terms and conditions) in case any other parts have been damaged.

Q 18 (c). Can I get claim of screen repair cost if I do not repair phone?

 No, user has to repair his phone and download our app then only MBcare will settle the claim amount.

Q 19: How can I check the status of my claim?

 User can check claim status any time by visiting our website’s claim status section.

Q 20: Can I download and register MBcare App Offer for multiple devices?

Yes. This plan can be obtained on multiple devices. This plan is linked with your IMEI

Q 21: What if I don’t want ads on lock screen?

If you don’t want to see ads you can simply remove our app and go for paid options available in the market. Currently we don’t have paid plans. We will keep you informed once we come with paid plans.
